Tips for using Total Portfolio

  • Tag external assets consistently: Ensure all external holdings you want to include, are properly assigned to asset classes for accurate portfolio representation. Items not assigned will not be included.
  • Review before client meetings: Check Total Portfolio before presenting proposals to catch any unexpected allocation imbalances
  • Use for risk verification: Compare the total allocation against the client's risk profile to ensure the complete strategy aligns with their preferences
  • Include what matters: Use "Keep in total portfolio" strategically—include holdings relevant to the investment strategy, exclude those outside your advisory scope
